Muslim Community Association (MCA), founded in 1999, has become a spiritual and communal anchor for Muslim life in the heart of Silicon Valley. Rooted in the teachings of Islam, the MCA reflects the rich diversity of the Bay Area, bringing together families from dozens of cultures and backgrounds. The mosque offers a welcoming space for prayer, reflection, and connection, serving individuals and families across generations.

At the heart of community life are the five daily prayers and the weekly Jumu’ah service. On Fridays, worshippers gather to listen to the khutbah and pray side by side, creating a powerful rhythm of remembrance and unity amid the pace of everyday life. The call to prayer, the recitation of the Qur’an, and the shared moments of supplication foster gratitude, humility, and a deep sense of belonging.

Beyond worship, the MCA serves as a vibrant center for learning, service, and community engagement. Through Qur’an classes, youth and family programs, interfaith outreach, charitable initiatives, and celebrations of Ramadan and Eid, the community nurtures faith and strengthens bonds. Guided by values of compassion, justice, and service, the MCA is more than a mosque. It is a living expression of faith, learning, and connection for all who gather there.
